About Team
The Cloud Platform Engineering department develops, constructs, and oversees the platforms that enable the safe, dependable, large-scale deployment and operation of Myntra’s technological products. By utilising cloud hosting platforms, these horizontal platforms guarantee that Myntra’s hosting is independent of cloud vendors. In addition, we develop other automations for production, such as large-scale infrastructure provisioning and sophisticated server access control. We have created a number of internal platforms and tools for CI/CD, zero trust, security and compliance, load/stress testing, and observability at scale. Additionally, we actively use open sources and make an effort to give back to the community.
SRE (Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team)
The primary duties of this group of knowledgeable SRE engineers are to automate, manage, and provide cloud infrastructure provisioning, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting. This team maintains its own coding for automated tasks like infrastructure provisioning and makes extensive use of open-source technologies like Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc. In addition, the SRE team is in charge of managing WAF (Akamai), load balancing, massive Kubernetes clusters, and planning and executing installations in Azure. The availability and uptime of Myntra’s cloud-based production infrastructure are under the control of this core team.
Roles and Responsibility
- Design, build and maintain central platform products to improve the security posture of Myntra
- Write maintainable/scalable/efficient code.
- Design and architect technical solutions for the developer community at Myntra
- Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with peers during the entire SDLC.
- Follow coding standards, code reviews, etc.
- Follow scrum sprint cycles and commitment to deadlines.
- Identify security gaps in or for software platforms and incorporate them into requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 1 years experience in large scale application development
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with distributed systems handling a large amount of data.
- Experience in Python or Golang, ReactJs
- Hands-on experience on Linux/Unix systems, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Docker
- Experience in platform centric software development
- Understanding of security protocols at Layer 3, Layer 4, and Layer 7
- Experience in cloud security, preferably on Azure
- Understanding of Web Technologies, NoSQL and messaging systems
